The subject implies: theoretical basis of general chemistry, including: general regularities of chemical process, structure of matter, heterogeneous dispersion systems, solutions, electrolyte water solutions, electrochemical processes; main qualities of chemical elements and their joins, used in contemporary technologies as a material for building and construction; basic of chemistry of joining materials.
Students are able to demonstrate their knowledge of general chemistry and understand their connection to civil engeneering. Studens are able to demonstrate skills for do practical calculation by using the acquired basics of the theoritical background. Students are able to demonstrate skills for searching the information to successfully completing the assigned job. Students are able to demonstrete their competence in discussions about transformations of inorganic substances - home work
Students are able to independently do laboratory works. Students are able to demonstrate skills independently to do laboratory works. Students are able to demonstrante competences to make conclusions and discuss about the results - presentation of laboratory reports.
