Course abstract

The aim of course is to acquire the theoretical and practical aspects of land management, land use, a conception of spatial planning and its importance. Students get acquainted with the mechanical engineering program for MicroStation, the program`s work environment and the use of topographical plan drawing and other graphic material in drawing.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge about the aim, tasks and content of land management, importance of spatial planning by development of towns and rural areas.
• Skills - student knows how to apple the knowledge of spatial development to work out the spatial plans; student acquires skills trough a variety of drawing, editing, and other palettes, drawing, editing and other palletes, drawing topographical plans and other graphic material.
• Kompetence - to participate in land use planning process and the development of spatial planning documents.
