Course abstract
This course is an introduction to essence of the agricultural information systems and the components of the agricultural information systems: hardware, software, user, information. The course is viewing the necessity to form national, regional and international systems and networks in order increase understanding on the interaction between agriculture and environment, identify ecologically-friendly technologies and promote exchange of information on the sources of information.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
As a result of learning this course students acquire:
• Knowledge about agricultural information systems;
• Skills to link knowledges about agricultural information systems with content of others courses;
• Competence in solving problems in their profession and to development of their professionalism.
