Maintenance and management of land reclamation systems in agriculture. Ownership rights and types of drainage systems. Measurements and observations for evaluation and control of the drainage performance. Operation of main drains, land drainage systems and structures. Legislation in Latvia regarding land drainage and water management. Cadaster of land drainage.
1.The course develops specialized knowledge and understanding about maintenance of water reclamation systems. 2. The course enables students with an ability to find relevant solutions and best methods for maintenance, renovation, and improvement of land reclamation systems; 3. The course elaborates competence to use knowledge about technologies and methods that students can use in practical work regarding maintenance of water management systems.
