Course abstract

The history of rhetorics or oratory. Public speech, rhetorical techniques, presentation. Analysis of orator, public and message. The structure of public speech, design of public speech. Techniques and methods of public speaking. Analysis of argumentation. Strategies and tactics of polemics.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: On rhetoric, argumentation, business presentation and public speech.
Skills: Students acquire knowledge and skills of rhetoric. Acquire methodic of public speech. In the study process the public speeches are analyzed and constructed, strategies and tactics of argumentation and polemics are acquired.
Competence of powerful public speaker and negotiator in professional field.
