Students acquire knowledge of ethics and aesthetics as practical philosophy, their role in human life and society. The course focuses on the main ethical and aesthetical categories, analyses the contemporary ethical and aesthetical problems .
Learning outcomes: After completing the course students will have:
• Knowledge of the history of ethics and aesthetics, understanding of ethical and aesthetical values, understanding of virtuous behaviour.
• Skills in analysing and assessing the contemporary problems from the practical philosophy’s point of view.
• Competence to apply practical philosophy’s knowledge and skills in student’s own professional activity.
