Course abstract

Study course project is designed using the experience gathered in European Union countries. Students are getting acquainted with the principle of economic efficiency in power systems use, electric appliances life cycle, calculation principles of efficiency and lifecycle. Electric appliances technologycal operations database, economic cybernetics, control systems analysis, simulation, optimization, rational use of electricity and other resources, rational design and planning of electrics department are used.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - of technical and economical aspects of electric network design and usage;
• skills - in electric network alternatives technical and economical evaluation;
• competence - in technical and economical evaluation of existing electricity supply system.
