Aim of course is learning of classification, characteristics, main features of electrotechnical materials and its applications in electrotechnic branch. Students acquires systematized knowledge on gasiform, liquid and solid dielectric materials, its conductivity and resistance. Knowledge is obtained on organic, non-organic dielectric materials, conductors, semiconductors, magnetic materials, main electrotechnical products and its applications.
• Knowledge on characteristics of materials, its classification.
• Skils in evaluation and in selection of materials suitable for particular purpose.
• Competence in applications of electotechnical materials in energetics.
