Course abstract

Students acquire electrical equipment mounting technologies. Basic information about principles of mounting, schemes, attaching works, wires and cables and kinds of installation are given in the first part. The second part deals with an electric connection, wired and securely end of trim, lighting equipment, distribution equipment, switching circuits, control and protection of equipment assembly. The third part is dedicated to cable lines and overhead line construction, substation components grounding and potential equalization assembly equipment.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - about indoor and outdoor electrical network construction and assembly of electrical equipment;
• skills - performing analysis and inspection of indoor and outdoor electrical network, recognizing standard circuits, performing technical calculations on circuits and complete solution;
• competence - to know technical characteristics of electric elements, devices and technologies, to suggest improvements and new applications of standard electric circuits in agricultural energetic.
