Course abstract

Study course is designed using the experience gathered in European Union countries. During the studies students are getting acquainted with the principle of economic efficiency in power systems use, electric appliances life cycle, calculation principles of efficiency and lifecycle. The study course includes overview of electric appliances technological operations database, economic cybernetics, control systems analysis, simulation, optimization, rational use of electricity and other resources, rational design and planning of electrics department.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge - of costs of electric devices operation calculation during lifecycle;
• skills - of electric devices operations planning, simulation;
• competence - efficient management and operations of power systems and departments.
