Course abstract

In the study course the design and maintenance of water heating systems, steam systems and those component parts, electric heating, heating with gas heaters, heated floors with water pipes and electric heating cables, heat generators are acquired. Heating systems control and it's components are analysed.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge: the construction and operation of heating systems and component parts, operation providing elements.
• skills: to be able to calculate the components of heating system, to evaluate those operating conditions for object;
• competence: to choose the most suitable heating system and it's operation conditions for the given object, to evaluate solutions to improve the operation and control of heating system.
