Course abstract
The financial statements of a group presented as those of a single enterprise. This process includes the elimination of all intercompany ownership and activities. Application of a new accounting policy to events and transactions as if the new accounting policy had always been in use. Accounting policies used for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
After completing the course student will have: knowledge – about consolidated annual report composition procedure. Understanding of the consolidation’s economic content and essence. Skills – ability to apply consolidation procedures. Ability to comply with general requirements to provide consolidated financial report, guidelines for its structure and content. Treatment – understanding of consolidation’s executional operations. Ability to prepare consolidated financial report. Identify consolidation pace’s technical and legal aspects. Competence – independently formulate consolidation’s economic content and essence, to cause the most qualitative approach to information presentation in financial reports.
