Course abstract

Students acquire entrenched knowledge in matters of modern cadastral surveying system in Latvia, it’s objectives and tasks. The program relates to legal arrangement of cadastral surveying and improvement of surveying system. Knowledge, acquired in learning process, can be used working in state and municipality institutions, as well as in research and development of projects in area of cadastral surveying.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the course student will have:
• knowledge and entrenched understanding on general issues of cadastral surveying, as well as on surveying of land parcels, buildings and sets of premises;
• skills without assistance to perform investigation in area of cadastral surveying and use survey methods;
• competence in collaboration with supervisor of study course to manage processing and scientific evaluation of achieved results.
