Course abstract

The objective of the practice is to make possible for students to study and to analyze processes of building project start, planning, controlling, closing and multi-project management as well as use of software tools in project management in building company or organization.Students get acquainted with the principles of building project supervisions; master the program MS Project - program of Project management, which is whidely used in making the calendary plans in construction area.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the course student will have
strengthened, expanded and systematized theoretical and practical knowledge and critical understanding of the building work processes, technology, building work planning, organizing and managing in the building site, to acquire the necessary skills in building management and organization of the site, receive training in building work in organizing the site,
• Knowledge - acquired an understanding of building project types, types of project phases. Acquired knowledge of the preparation of the project description.
• Skills - acquired skills to prepare the project description, the ability to work in a team, ability to use individual judgment, to perform independent analysis of the project, understand the regulatory restrictions, the ability to analyze laws and build the project control mechanisms.
• Competence - students will have acquired professional competency, which allows developing and organizing projects in building companies.
