Course abstract

Static analysis of one-storey steel frame of industrial building is acquired taking into account moving load and dynamical effects. Practical skills of design and construction of steel frame elements - column, crane girder and truss -including drawings is mastered.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge about calculation and design of industrial steel frame structures; skills to perform calculation and construction of steel frame structural elements; competence to define design problem of steel frame structure, perform design and evaluate the acquired results.
