Course abstract

Students during of this course acquire knowledge of short history of water supply and sewerage, importance of water supply systems elements, calculation methods of water pipe network, equipment for water transportation, elements of water sewerage systems and calculation of them, methods of sewerage treatment. In course project students turn in practical projecting of engineering solutions of water supply and sewerage for different buildings.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Students should receive knowledge of water supply and sewerage branch overall, water sources in nature, principles of network design in living buildings and others, methods of calculations of networks and facilities, as well as ability to make right decision of problems solution in view of environment protection against sewerage pollution.
