Course abstract

The subject "Surveying II" gives the students theoretical knowledge of the instruments used in the vertical surveying, the methods of leveling, the designing of the surface projects, geodetic construction works, practical knowledge of levelers, levelling, surveying of profile, topographic surveying.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the studies student will have:
• knowledge of the instruments used in the vertical surveying, the methods of levelling, projecting of the surface, geodetic construction works;
• skills to use the knowledge in practice, doing leveler checks, surveying of profile, topographic surveying, to work carefully and accurately, to work independently as well as in a team, to design the journals, plans, profiles and other documents of the measurements based on the requirements
• competence to independently access, select and analyze information necessary for the work, and use it to make decisions and to address problems with an executable work, understanding of professional ethics, to be able to evaluate the professional activities on the environment and society
