Using coordinate systems. Creating drawing objects. Snapping to geometric points of objects. Editing methods: selecting objects, editing commands, object properties toolbar. Dimensioning. Blocks. Layers. Working in three-dimensional space. Using Rendering tools.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge on regularities of geometry needed for effective work in AutoCAD, understanding of three main categories in AutoCAD: setting variables, commands, regimes.
• Skills: good for design of drawings in plane and basics in 3D modelling.
• Competence for effective choice of AutoCAD tools in order to achieve the result expected – models of correct geometry.
