Course abstract

The aim of the study course is to develop an understanding of different design aspects, methods and recommendations. Students are acquiring relationship of design tasks and economical basement with utility, reliability and safety of machines. Unification methods are studied with aim to reduce the nomenclature of production objects. Study course introduces with the application of experience and investigation of working circumstances to selection of design solution. Study course introduces with the main design methods, application of inversion method and production of total composition.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - understands the interplay between different aspects of the design process and the application of recommendations with the usefulness, durability and operational reliability of the constructions. Knows the main design methods and techniques - Test 1.
Skills - is able to make the necessary calculations and apply methods for determination of constructive parameters and choice of variants - Test 2.

Competence - ability to use the acquired professional knowledge and skills in practical work and studies in engineering problems - homework.
