The aim of the study course is to develop communication skills of the students so that they are able to speak and understand simple monologues and dialogues in Italian on everyday topics. All four language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) are developed, the vocabulary learning is based on social and personal issues, simultaneously providing the knowledge of grammar and pronunciation. The language proficiency level corresponds to A1 (CEFR)
Knowledge: Students have learned terms in the following areas:
- daily communication phrases, use of personal pronouns, making simple sentences and questions.
Skills: students are able to create a monologue or dialogue on everyday topics, use verb forms in the simple tenses, personal and possessive pronouns, etc.
Competence: Students know how to tell about themselves, their family, the surrounding environment in simple sentences. Can make small dialogues. Understands simple text.
Grading: pass/fail.

9. Work and professions. Career. Creating a dialogue. - 2h
10. External appearance. Personal description. Adjectives - 2h
11. Italian cultural heritage. Simple past. – 2h
12. Progress test 3 (topics 9-11). – 2h
13. Work in Italy: CV and job interview – 2h
14. Domestic challenges: shopping, renting an apartment, renting a car. Composite future. – 2h
15. Highlighting Italy: places and traditions. – 2h
16. Presentation of independent work. - 2h
Evaluation: Credit. It is made up of the cumulative rating. Active work in classes, successfully written tests, passed homework. The number of missed lessons does not exceed 20% of the total number of lessons.
Independent works according to the course plan, submitted on time and positively evaluated.
Cumulative evaluation: active work in person, completed and passed homework and tests. The number of missed hours does not exceed 20% of the total number of audience hours.
