Course abstract

Studying the course, students acquire the mathematical knowledge and skills needed for the further study of special subjects The second part of course includes derivative applications, indefinite integrals, definite integrals, infinite integrals and its applications, first and second ordinary differential equations.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• knowledge of derivative of function and applications, indefinite integrals, definite integrals, infinite integrals, types of first and second order ordinary differential equations.
• skills of function integration, with define integrals calculate a area of plane figures and surface area of rotation body, calculate the extremum of function of one variables, solve ordinary differential equations.
• competences of mathematical thinking, of handle symbols and formal mathematics language, of mathematical problem formulating and solving, of reasoning, of modelling (ability analyze and build mathematical models), of tools and of communication (ability to communicate in, with and about mathematics).
