Course abstract

The aim of the course is to develop an understanding of mechanisms, machines and their division, as well as of machinery assemblies and their formation. Students learn the mechanism and machine dynamics that serve as a basis for machine calculations. Transmission mechanism kinematics and their synthesis are the basis for machine
design. Understanding the problem of vibration insulation is important for successful machine operation.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - is familiar with the laws and operation of machinery and mechanisms. Knows the theoretical foundations of the actual motion detection and provision of machine units. Graphical and analytical methods for analysis and design of machines and machines - Laboratory works.
Skills - can solve problems of machine and mechanism structure, kinematic, dynamic parameter optimization and machine vibration protection - Laboratory works.

Competence - Ability to use the acquired professional knowledge and skills in practical work and studies in solving engineering problems - Laboratory works.
