Course abstract

Course of study presents the techniques of china and glass painting, usage of them, importance of compositional basic principles, of color and graphic expression in the task implementation; creative approach to harmonizing surface (foreseen for painting), composition of the selected area, painting techniques and usage of color.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge: acquired theoretical knowledge of the porcelain and glass painting techniques, facilities and methods.
Skills: developed skills to act creatively and to use different ways of painting in the plane and spherically curved surfaces. Developed sketches accordingly the surface what is foreseen for painting; realized independently creative works and practically painted a variety of porcelain, glassware, plates and dishes and surfaces.
Competence: able to express creatively and to realize personal development widely; accomplished sense of colors and form, creative thinking.
