Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

During each practical work, students receive individual tasks that need to be performed and defended. On goat issues there is one independent work (analysis and presentation of a scientific article), and one independent work (compilation of a crossword dough) that needs to be completed.
To study the theory of poultry farming, a test is taken in e-studies. In practical work, students complete 4 practical works, which are placed in e-studies for evaluation.
In sheep breeding practical works, students complete 3 practical works, which are placed in e-studies, for evaluation, the test placed in e-studies is taken for theory study.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

In the study course on poultry issues, a successful evaluated is, if at least 40% of the questions have positive answers. The developed practical works are evaluated by 15% and test by 40%. On goat issues there is evaluated 1st independent work with one mark (30%), 2nd independent work is evaluated with one mark (10%), the final test is evaluated with 2 marks (30% + 30%). In the sheep breeding section, a successful assessment is if there are at least 40% positive answers in the theory test. Assessment of practical works 20%. The average mark is calculated for the sheep, goat and poultry husbandry sections. The final exam grade for the study course Animal Husbandry II is calculated as the weighted average of all the assessment grades.
