Study in lectures, laboratory work, and study independently. It constitutes an in-depth understanding of the conditions required for the existence of biological objects: water, heat, gas exchange and light, as well as basic laws of mechanics necessary for the understanding of wood processing processes.
After completing the course students will have:
Knowledge of the relationships examined in the physics course and critical understanding of their feasibility to describe the processes in their specialty (2 quiz);
Skills to perform physical measurements and to perform calculations in research in the sector, to compile and to describe the results in analytical terms (4 laboratory works, calculations thereof);
Competence to evaluate the results of measurements and calculations, search for solutions to problems (crediting of 4 laboratory works)
1. Mechanical basics - kinematics 2 h
2. Mechanical basics - dynamics 4 h
3. Fluids in soil, wood and atmosphere-4 h
4. Viscosity of fluids, its meaning-2 h
5. 1 quiz -1 h
6. Temperature and heat, its exchange processes 4 h
7. Substance exchange processes in wood, soil and atmosphere -4 h
8. Light, its meaning -2 h
9. 2 quiz -1h
Test must be passed
1. Study literature independently according to the course plan.
2. Laboratory work should be processed and counted.
A student can obtain a successful mark for a test, if he / she collects at least 50% of the points in the assessment in 2 quizzes and 4 laboratory jobs (Each is scored from 0 to 10 points)
