Course abstract

Course paper: Creating a visual image style. Characteristics of the visual image and the style of the dress. Means of expressing clothing composition. Visual image style building stages.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knowledge - understanding of the style of fashion and the historical development of fashion, the basic principles of the design of costume styles
Skills - to analyze critically, compare and evaluate the characteristics of costume styles in the design of clothing composition and image; work individually and in groups and demonstrate IT skills in the development of independent work;
Competence - ability to formulate and explain word-related terms; ability to understand the fashion multidisciplinarity of the costume as a socio-economic, anthropological, social psychological and artistic system, the ability to conduct a fashion study, systematize and present the acquired information.
