Course abstract

The aim of course is to provide set of practical skills of casting and forging in machinery engineering; processing types and products; Welding process and equipment for electrical, gas and pressure welding, technology and materials: theory of material cutting process; metal cutting machinery, equipment, tools and technology.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• Knowledge of hot and cold materials processing technology, equipment and tools;
• skills in choosing appropriate materials, processing equipment, tools and technical parameter;
• competence in assessing the usefulness technological processes.
