Course abstract

The aim of the professional practice is to teach students about fire safety and civil protection in the work place, make work place audit , knowledge make conclusions, gather and arrange documentation, normative acts about fire safety and civil protection.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

After completing the practice student will have:
• knowledge and critical understanding of the role and place of fire safety and civil protection in the work process of practice companies (presentation);
• skills of creating civil protection system in practice company instructing of employees at work place and training employees for safe work methods (report);
• competence in practice companies cooperation with fire safety and civil protection specialist knowing how to act in emergency situations (report).

Course Content(Calendar)

1. Familiarity with the specifics of the practice company's production.
2. Familiarity with documentation and regulatory enactments regarding the issue of fire safety and civil protection at the place of practice.
3. Assessment of the financing of fire safety and civil protection measures.
4. Presentation of Practice Results.

Requirements for awarding credit points

The professional practice report shall be reviewed, evaluated and given the conclusion on its crediting by the head of the company's practice. The signature and signature of the report shall be certified with a stamp. The report must be submitted to the section on the date specified by the teacher responsible (no later than two weeks after the end of the practice), while the student should present the results of the practice (10 min. speech). Together with the practice report, an assignment must also be submitted with the characteristics given therein. The report shall be evaluated with a check mark in the 10-party system.
