Course abstract

Subject Land Cadastral Surveying gives potential cadastral surveyors and new experts needed knowledge about specification of the object of immovable property historical development, legal and geodetic main documents of cadastral surveying of the land. The program includes work and accommodation with legislative acts of Republic of Latvia, analysis and documents of cadastral surveying providing, survey programm using in measurment data processing and executing cadastral surveying documents according as regulatory enactments.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

• knowledge about the potentional cadastral surveyers of the land and the future specialists of real estate, its historical development, legal and geodical basis.
• skills to use the theoretical knowledge in practice by working with laws and regulations, developing and analyzing documents of cadastral surveying of the land, using computer applications to process data and to design documents of cadastral surveying of the land under the laws and regulations, to work with care and precision, to work independently as well as in team.
• competence to independently access, select and analyze information necessary for the work, and use it to make decisions within its jurisdiction and to address problems with an executable work, understanding of professional ethics, to be able to assess their professional activities on the environment and society.
