Course abstract
The course gives insight into the multifaceted nature of stress and time phenomena from both the theoretical and the practical aspects. The course deals with stress and time management methods and techniques and builds up an understanding of stress and time management processes and the factors affecting them. Students are able to identify stress and its manifestations, determine stress levels, assess their time-planning habits and identify the stress management and time-planning methods and techniques suitable for their individuality in order to develop and apply a stress and time management strategy. The aim of the study course: to provide students with theoretical knowledge of and practical skills in the identification of stress and the selection of stress management and time planning methods in order to build up their professional and personal competence and to develop their ability to independently design and apply a stress and time management strategy to the professional environment and their personality.

KNOWLEDGE
Students will be able to:
demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of the concepts of stress, forms of expression, stress-related factors and the influence on the private and working life and wellbeing of an individual. (Independent task, a presentation)
Demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of the concepts of time management and the factors affecting time management and their influence on the private and working life of an individual. (Independent task, a presentation)
Demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of the principles of designing a stress and time management strategy, stress and time management methods and techniques and their application. (Report and a presentation)

3.Identification of stress and detection of stress types. Analysis of stressors. Determination of an individual stress level. (1 hour)
4.Analysis of the risk of burnout. Self-assistance methods. (1 hour)
5.Independent task. The influence of stress and time management on a person's private and working life. Stress and time management methods and techniques and their application (2 hours).
6.Basic skills for stress management. Practical learning of stress management techniques (2 hours)
7.Group task. Time management factors, time awareness, my relationship with time. (1 hour)

Requirements for awarding credit points
The student can earn a pass mark (taking a formal test with a mark) if lectures have been attended as well as independent task and group task have been performed and a report has been produced and presented and positively evaluated.
Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work
The independent task and group task assigned, research assignments or other assignments given have been performed in alignment with the topics covered in classes and a mark has been earned.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
The netting rating shall consist of:
•Independent task “Assessment of subjective wellbeing. Identification of an individual’s life position. Identification of key areas of life.” (10%);
•Independent task “Prerequisites for designing stress and time management strategies, the influence of stress on an individual’s private and working life; stress and time management methods and techniques and their application.” (15%);
•Independent task “Self-evaluation system. Awareness of the strengths and weaknesses.” (15%);
•Independent task “Analysis of an individual time budget and time use. Prioritization.” (10%); •Individual stress and time management strategy: Report (35 %), Presentation (15%)
