Course abstract
Human health throughout life, wellness, adult learning characteristics. Pedagogical and psychological aspects of work and civil protection training to reduce the formal attitude. Learning process and methods in work and civil protection. Pillars of education of 21st century. Use of IT in training. Methodological materials, instructions, writing instructions. Creating of working and learning environments of teaching quality management. Burnout at work.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• knowledge: able to explain the labour and civil protection teaching methods, work psychology, and wellness development - the practice report;
• skills: able to teach work and civil protection, work out teaching methodology and instructions, and develop teaching/learning environment - practice manager's assessment; • competence: able to evaluate and improve the work and civil protection quality of training and training aids, to evaluate the impact of psycho-emotional factors on human health – Defence of the practice report..
Course Content(Calendar)
1 Familiarization with the program and tasks of the professional scientific research practice.
2 Improve knowledge, skills and competence to enhance staff competence change.
3 Studies literature and approbates theoretical knowledge, observes the working environment, employee behaviour in the workplace.
4 Prepare presentations, evaluate the work process in terms of work psychology.
5 Acquire skills to give instruction to employees, prepare study materials, be able to assess knowledge.
6 To use teaching aids and select teaching methods.
7 Processing information and writing reports.
8 Presentation and evaluation of practice results; small group work. 9 Practice Exam.
Requirements for awarding credit points
Oral examination.

The exam assignment consists of:
•submitted practice report:
o incl. methodical materials developed by the student according to the tasks of the practice (description of the methodology of the lesson);
o incl. a short video about the subject of the lesson chosen and filmed by the student;
o incl. assessment of work environment and processes in psychological aspects;
•presentation of the practice before the course members; •the written successful assessment of the practice supervisor.
Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work
• Independently prepared and presented lesson in labor protection. • Questioning "Satisfaction with work". Employees' attitudes towards safe working conditions, work environment and work psychology are assessed.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
The exam will be evaluated in the 10-balls system.

Evaluation Criteria:
• 30% assessment of the submitted practice report (documentation and methodological materials);
• 30% practice manager's assessment; • 40% estimation of the result presentation and defense.
