Course abstract
Students acquire widely used mathematical statistics techniques for analysis of experimental data in agriculture. Students learn about systematization of data and their graphic display. Students achieve a competence about sampling, calculation and evaluation of descriptive statistics, statistical parameters and hypothesis testing, as well as, about interpretation of results.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
As a result of the study course students acquire:knowledge and critical understanding of mathematical methods and their practical applications in agriculture;skills in mathematical methods for statistically based conclusions for course work and undergraduate work, skills in the use of appropriate software applications for statistical data processing;competence in applying the relevant mathematical methods, execute a professional evaluation and interpretation of results in group work or independently.
