Course abstract
The aim of the study course is to present development of new animal breeding machinery constructions as well as up-dating of the existing machinery, including preparation of engineering calculation and elaboration of the economic substantiation for the new version.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge - about the design of animal husbandry equipment, modernizing or technically improving the existing animal husbandry technological processes. Knowledge is evaluated within the course project.
Skills - to develop a constructive solution, engineering calculation and economic substantiation for new livestock equipment to be designed or improved. Skills are assessed within the course project, during its preparation and defense.
Competence - to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for agricultural engineers, taking care of the modernization of animal husbandry technology and mechanization. Competences are assessed within the course project, during its preparation and defense.

Requirements for awarding credit points
The course project must be completed in accordance with the existing requirements. The work should be defended in a discussion with the lecturer and other students

The development of the course project takes place independently, in consultation with the lecturer.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
The course project is evaluated according to the compliance with the methodological instructions and the qualitative performance of the project.
