Course abstract
Students acquire knowledge necessary for business plan completing in catering and hotel branch - planning of production and promotion, risk analyse; cash flow, calculation of profits, depreciation, calculation of interests, balance planning and relevance of planning documents.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
after studying the course the student will
• knowledge and critical understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of business planning for hotel and restaurant
• the skills to formulate, critically evaluate and use the basic practical work - drawing up business plans for hotel and restaurant, including financial calculations - cash flow, profit - loss account and balance plan • competence to make decisions on funding for the selected repayment schedule with the company's business opportunities.
