Course abstract
The course is intended for doctoral students of BOVA university network. The general aim of the course is to bring together PhD students from different disciplines - landscape architecture and planning, forest sience, agriculture, tourism, environmental science, geography, etc. to highline the importance of cognitive aspects in different research fields related to the landscape research. Cognitive aspects play important role in landscape assessment. It covers specific ways of human perception through memories, experience, senses, understanding of the place etc.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
• Enhanced knowledge on landscape cognition methods and approaches.
• Improved skills in discussion making and work in multidisciplinary groups, elaborating a scientific article. • Competence of the role of cognitive aspects in research fields related to the landscape assessment.
