| Course provides theoretical and practical insight into the cartography industry. Students are introduced to the history and development of cartography until today, maps mathematical justification, mapping principles, methodologies and usage. In the laboratory students are acquired practical introduced skills to draw up variety of maps and related digital data sets and use its results. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| • Knowledge of the mapping methodologies and its using in practice.
• Skills acknowledges to read and use the analog and electronic maps and skills in drawing up processes a variety of maps. • Competence to assess rationally the methodology for mapping according to objectives of the designed map and realized it in practice. |
