Course abstract | |
The aim of the study course is to acquire large scale landscape design, based on socioeconomic, visual composition and ecological characteristics of the area, course project includes road, pedestrian and cyclist ways, the area territory improvement and greenery plan based on the function and composition. In the project, it is needed to be taken into account possibilities of the water basin, rain water collecting, and property boundaries, underground and air infrastructure, protection zones. The course project needs to be developed by computer graphics with visualizations, digital presentation. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
The outcome of the study course:
• knowledge about planning of landscape objects planning in the context of larger landscapes, about the existing and expected ecological situation of the area, about the tasks of relief surface and water basin in the microclimate of the landscape and plant development, • establish skills in designing of greenery of social importance - protective greenery with different aims of its usage, and designing of flower beds, • ability to evaluate the planned area territory from the aspect development and structure of cultural-history, dendrology and ecology, ability to predict the influence of the planned changes. |
