Course abstract | |
The aim of the study course is to acquire landscape designing, by using landscape functional unity of the landscape and composition with the architectural object as dominant, equivalent or dependent element. In the course project, students develop plans of roads, parking’s, representative decorative, recreation zones. In the project, the need to be taken into account service areas, environmental accessibility objects, worked out detailed greenery plans. The course project needs to be developed by computer graphics with visualizations and specifications. In study course are included topics about climate changes in rural areas. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
The outcome of study course:
• knowledge about zoning of representative objects, about functional, compositional and aesthetic unity in large scale objects, about the architectural object main and service functions of the architectural object and areas territories surrounding the building, • increasing skills in planning pedestrian and transport movement, establishing skills in designing of the environmental accessibility constructions, and plans of the group shaping, • competence - ability to work out territory improvement plan of the area and developing a greenery project for public and private outdoor space with main dominant and dependent objects of it. |

1 Object of architecture as equivalent, dominant or downstream element of the landscape.
2 Compositional structure, scale of architectural forms. 3 Territorial zoning of architectural object. 4 Discussion of project conception. 5 Shapes, colours, light and shade structures and graphical structure of architectural object importance in landscape clarification. 6 The need of protection against flooding assessment, water level changes in influence of climate change. 7 Main landscape dominant in project area. Project general layout and compositional solution discussion and acceptance. 8 Driveway, parking and pedestrian way movement design. 9 Design of representative-decorative area. 10 Design of recreation areas, choice of landscape elements. 11 Service are plan and improvement. 12 Necessary communication design for accessibility for disabled persons. 13 Greenery plan choice and group design. 14 Greenery plan detailing and list composition. 15 Final shaping of course project. 16 Evaluation and discussion of final course project. |
