Course abstract
Extramural practice. Students upgrade their knowledge’s and practical skills.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledges: about laboratorial tests and diagnostic imaging; most common diseases – their etiology, pathogenesis and treatment. Assessment – medical reports and oral presentation.
Skills: to do clinical examination and diagnostic imaging methods, set diagnosis and recommendations. Assessment – medical report and oral presentation. Competence: to choose correct diagnostic tests and prescribe treatment; analyze herd health situation. Assessment – medical report and oral presentation.
Course Content(Calendar)
To acquire a practical skills and new knowledges, students have to choose a practice place to certified veterinarian.
Requirements for awarding credit points
Two weeks after the practice students have to submit: three clinical case medical reports and one case to present;
Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work
To prepare medical reports and one clinical case presentation.
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes
To get a final grade students must fulfil all requirements for awarding credit points.
