| Master thesis is a research work that features scientific conclusions of the student made of his/her own. Its main purpose is to demonstrate the master student’s skills of using scientific methodology in tackling certain tasks, evaluating existing social situations and developing practical and effective suggestions. Master thesis shows the student’s skill to solve field-related problems carrying out scientific research. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| Master students will acquire:
knowledge: about the structure and execution of master thesis, key elements of the illustrative part, research and information acquisition methods, data processing and interpretation, and final part development. skills: formulate the illustrative part key elements in compliance with the theme, gather and aggregate the information on the theoretical base; to process the thesis in accordance with methodological guidelines; carry out the research using informative materials of the research object, demonstrate the ability to use the acquired knowledge; independently and critically apply research work methods; competences: have a grasp of theoretical literature and information exposure; be able to justify the choice of research methods and determine the most appropriate method to reach the goal of the thesis; be able to interpret the research results, put forward concise conclusions and offer suggestions. |
