| Course abstract | |
| The course provides master students with an in-depth knowledge of and skills in freight and passenger transport management and organisational issues at the levels of individual modes of transport and national and international enterprises as well as in establishing, managing and planning a logistics system as well as controlling it at an enterprise. Master students build up an in-depth understanding of how to apply the logistics audit method as well as competence in the matters pertaining to the need, specifics and systems of logistics for enterprises of various industries. | |

| 1.Students will be able to: demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the nature of logistics and its role in the national economy, the latest trends in logistics in Latvia and in the world - independent work, a case study
