Working on the course paper, students strengthen their knowledge about rural tourism, its nature and development, rural tourism resources, products and innovations and acquire skills to apply it practically, studying the business environment in rural tourism and integrating the knowledge gained of the legal framework for business start-ups. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrate a structured and analytical knowledge of rural tourism business and critically review literature sources in order to examine rural tourism-related situations (course paper, the presentation of the course paper). SKILLS Professional skills: Demonstrate skills to independently summarise and systemise information, select the most appropriate research methods, integrate the knowledge acquired during the course, draw well-founded conclusions and realistic proposals (course paper, the presentation and defence of the course paper). Reasonably explain rural tourism business-related issues (course paper, the presentation and defence of the course paper). Soft skills: Responsibly plan and independently do the research (course paper, the presentation and defence of the course paper). Independently find necessary information and select proper research methods for the course paper (course paper). Publicly defend the research results, present the proposals developed and justify the personal opinion as well as answer the questions asked (presentation and defence of the course paper). COMPETENCE Independently find solutions to rural tourism business-related problems, substantiating the implementation strategy and necessary activities, comprehend the overall situation in the tourism industry and come up with recommendations for the enhancement of it (course paper, the presentation and defence of the course paper). |
