| Course abstract | |
| The course deals with the transport process components and road transport vehicle efficiency indicators. The course also deals with transportation technologies of the main type of cargo of various industries and with the selection of appropriate vehicles, as well as cargo loading and unloading mechanisms and machines. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| • Knowledge - on planning, calculation and evaluation of specific freight transportation process, selection of appropriate vehicles, planning and calculation of certain cargo loading and unloading operations, as well as selection of appropriate cargo handling equipment.
• Skills - analyze, compare and evaluate the effectiveness of universal and specialized vehicles for certain cargo transportation in the given routes. • Competence - ability to plan effective freight transport by road within the simple inland routes. |
