Course abstract
Bachelor's Thesis is a research carried out by a student that confirms acquiring theoretical and practical knowledge; methodical and organisational skills in the field of studies as well as the ability to conduct a research with the elements of novelty or practical usage, and to draw relevant conclusions without assistance. Writing it systemizes, improves and develops student's theoretical knowledge and skills to use them while solving a particular theme. It shows student's level of practical preparedness to work in the speciality; promotes improvement of research work, and further education.
Learning outcomes and their assessment
Knowledge of: how to draw up Bachelor's Thesis; the structure of the paper and necessary elements of programmatic part; carrying out a research; methods for obtaining information; data processing and interpreting; drawing conclusions and outlining proposals.
Skills: to define the elements of programmatic part; to gather and to sum up the theoretical foundation of the research; to carry out the research; to demonstrate the ability to use acquired knowledge; to use the methods of scientific work critically and without assistance; to identify problems appearing while the research and to outline proposals in order to solve the problems. • Competence: to be competent in using theoretical literature and choice of information; to be able to select the appropriate literature for the chosen theme; to base on choice of research methods; to be able to interpret the results of the research; to draw conclusions, and to outline the proposals.

Bachelor's work is assessed according to the requirements of compliance quality. The elaboration, management, submission, pre-defense and defense procedures of the Bachelor's thesis are regulated by the Methodological Guidelines for the Development and Defense of Bachelor Theses.
