| Study course introduces students to the history of urban and rural development, planning principles, policy making and development. Students learn about main schools of urban and rural development policies, developing theories and theories about urban and rural changes, principles and their expressions in different places, at different scales. | |
| Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
| Knowledge about history of urban and rural development policy and modern approaches, understanding of urban and rural development instruments and strategies. Skills – to evaluate different urban and rural development policies and strategies, using different territory development instruments. Competence - basic knowledge and skills for work in organizations and institutions in the field of urban and rural development and management. | |
