Course abstract
Bachelor students acquire knowledge, skills and reflection abilities including the aspects of requirements of Bachelor thesis design, ethics of research, identification and formulation of problem of the study and formulation of basic questions (scientific structure). That must ensure Bachelor student’s knowledge and skills (in cooperation with scientific supervisor as well as by means of tutorials) to start educational research on Bachelor’s level along with studying the course "Research in Education".
Learning outcomes and their assessment
After completing the course, student will have:
• knowledge: will be able to identify and critically evaluate potential research problems, will be able to analyze basic questions for their mutual coordination, will understand and comply requirements for bachelor's thesis and essentials of research ethics in his/her bachelor's thesis study;
• skills: will be able independently to identify and formulate research problem of Bachelor's Thesis, to formulate, critically evaluate and mutually coordinate basic questions (topic, objectives, etc.) of the bachelor's thesis study; • competence: in collaboration with supervisor of bachelor's thesis, along with studying the course "Research in Education" will be able to start development of bachelor's thesis (select information sources for theoretical study, to choose and combine research methods).
