Course abstract | |
In study subject master student is acquaint with the main aspects of modern biotechnology of preparing genetic modify foods, the regulations and consumer attitudes regarding gene technology in food production and with characteristics of several genetic modify foods, their identification methods. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
After completing the course student will have
• knowledge - deeper theoretical knowledge in basis of GMO and their use for food production • skills to discuss, to argue and to explain to specialists and non-specialists the role of GMO in food production • competence: student is competent to give a view to GMO, their ethics and their influence to environment and public |
