| Course abstract |
| Wood as a raw material, wood-based materials and their properties. Basics of mechanical processing of wood. Wood processing tools. Hand-tools of wood processing, their constructions and methods of work by using electrical hand-tools. Labour protection and labour safety requirements in mechanical wood processing. |
