Course abstract | |
The study course provides feasibility to obtain knowledge on utilization of wood in different ways. The main attention is paid to wood waste in the process of the basic production. Correspondingly to nowadays situation, the greater part of subject is devoted to utilization of wood as resource for heat energy. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
After the course students will have a thorough knowledge of wood and its processing residues use. Skills will be obtained to assess the amount of processing residues, and elaborate the wood balance sheet. Acquired competence will be sufficient to prepare wood resource flow modelling, and the assessment of wood utilization efficiency. | |
