Course abstract | |
During practice, in forest conditions, students explore forest botany, dendrology, reforestation, forest soil science, forest ecology and typology, forest protection, forest breeding and silviculture fundamentals, and practices in evaluating the consequences of silviculture measures. | |
Learning outcomes and their assessment | |
Knowledge - gets insight into the structure, dynamics and functions of forest ecosystems for the results of practical application of different silviculture measures. (1.-10. practice day oral or written test)

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work | |
Students shall independently carry out the performance of the tasks assigned at the beginning of each day, according to the instructions of the docent. | |
Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes | |
Final assessment: offsetting. The heads of partial practice sections shall, at the end of each day, orally examine students' knowledge, skills and competence in the form of questions-answers by recording a relevant rating (successful or unsuccessful). | |
